The location is really good, just a 10 min walk across the bridge to flores island. Other than that the hotel is a bit of a catfish - looks good from the outside, but rooms are very old, beds and bathroom did not feel/look super clean. the pool seems to be under construcation all the time and the breakfast portions are kind of small.
It's a nice and renovated wooden structure, it has the ambiance of being in the countryside. The rooms are clean and cozy, the service is decent and they always have a smile ready for you. It's located by the lakefront hence its name in Spanish,. Not to be confused with the other smaller hotel located on the other end of the lake or across the lake rather, which is called La casona de la isla. Enjoy your stay and the typical food my dear friends.
10/10 for the price and location! Phenomenal customer service! Breakfast thats included with the room is more of a display than substance but it’ll do!
Beds are extremely uncomfortable! Good TV reception. Lack plugs/USB ports to charge anything. Rooms large and varied in style. Restaurant menu options are limited. Local restaurants are nearby. Nice location right on the lake!
The place isn't too bad considering you're options around the area. The hotel does get hot and is infested with flies and mosquitoes since it's an open air hotel.
The staff is pretty helpful and useful and do their best to keep the area clean. The pool is nice but the hot tub doesn't work.
Breakfast wasn't bad at all but for lunch/dinner you're better off finding another place.
Be aware that beds are not comfortable at all.
It’s a lovely hotel. The rooms and beds are comfortable with AC! The views are pretty. A lake view is a must, otherwise you will be across a busy street. I couldn’t get my shower hot. I liked the swimming pool but the jacuzzi was luke warm, basically the same as the pool. The chicken dish I had for lunch wasn’t the best to be honest but they made up for it when they made my breakfast to go for my early shuttle ride. Friendly staff. 4/5
This large hotel is in Santa Elena. Isla de Flores just across the lake. Pool, view of Flores, great rooms. AC and hot water. TV also.
I booked this hotel for 2 days. After the second day I requested to stay an extra day. Unfortunately I was informed 😕 that the hotel was going to be booked the rest of the following days so my wife and myself had to leave the hotel. I believe this action was so disrespectful. Customers deserve better attention. So 👎 bad Customer service.
